Job Overview

We are seeking a Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and experience with various construction techniques, however, we are happy to train motivated individuals.

- Pay is dependent on skill and output with a base start pay of $20/h.

- Hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

- Weather permitting, we work 40hour/week. Generally only downtime for rain days/extreme heat/extreme cold.

- We are a small framing crew with steady single family home work. Being a small crew, you will be exposed to all aspects of the build, have ample hands on time, and ideally, learn quickly as a result!

Duties

(depending on skills & knowledge):

Construct and assemble wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the operation of heavy equipment when necessary (telehandler forklift is on-site).

Experience

Proven experience as a carpenter or framer in the construction industry is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
