School Profile:
Osgoode Public School is located on Osgoode Main Street and is a big part of the streetscape in the village of Osgoode. It serves a community that is a blend of old, new, rural, village and riverfront development. We have approximately 270 students in JK- grade 6, including our bilingual two-year kindergarten program and both the English and the Early French Immersion programs for students in grades 1 - 6. Our mission is to provide each child with the opportunity to achieve their potential and to provide a positive, inviting, safe and caring climate. It is important to us to help our students be the best they can be by working hard, being kind and inclusive, making good choices and developing into exemplary citizens. Process for selection:
A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:
1. At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
2. If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
It is the expectation that a teacher who accepts an assignment must agree to complete the assignment as posted. Teachers should apply only to the vacancies to which they will accept an interview.
