FPGA Architect with a minimum of 5 years of working experience, to lead our team. (School time doesn't count) The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with FPGA development.
Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a skilled, aviation and/or medical systems FPGA Architect to join our team. - As an FPGA Architect you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) solutions.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of advanced technologies.
- Design and develop FPGA-based systems for various applications
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define system requirements
- Implement and test FPGA designs using industry-standard tools
- Debug and troubleshoot FPGA designs to ensure functionality and performance
- Conduct system-level testing and verification
- Document design specifications, test plans, and results
Duties:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of digital design concepts and FPGA architectures
- Proficiency in HDL languages such as VHDL or Verilog
- Experience with FPGA development tools (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus)
- Familiarity with simulation tools (ModelSim, Questa)
- Knowledge of system design methodologies and best practices
- Understanding of signal processing algorithms and techniques
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python
- Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
