Job Description

The Company is seeking an FP&A Manager to become an integral part of the team. Based in Ontario or Quebec and reporting directly to the Controller, you will manage our financial planning process, performance and flex budget variance analysis functions for our operations.

• Maintain communications with site operations
• Identify and manage cost control optimization and reporting enhancement initiatives
• Preparation of monthly management report with commentary on KPIs, results and budget variances
• Assist with preparation of monthly and interim financial statements and note disclosures
• Develop, implement, and maintain our internal controls
• Support short/long-term operational strategies
• Some international travel may be required
• Responsible for financial and budget planning process across all our entities
• Responsible for operational static and flex budget variance analysis and control responses
• Responsible for construction budget variance analysis and control responses

• CPA designation is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English is required
• Previous experience as FP&A analyst or Senior Accountant at a mining company is preferred
• Experience building and working in financial models using advanced Excel functionality is required
• Fundamental knowledge of IFRS and Canadian GAAP is required
