Job Description


On behalf of our fast-growing client in the Financial Service industry, we are currently searching for an experienced individual with a strong FP& A (Financial Planning & Analysis) background for a consulting engagement. If you\'re a professional with 5+ years of Financial Planning / Budgeting experience and looking for an exciting consulting engagement where you are partnering with senior leadership and executives of the company in developing new budgeting and forecast models, you might be interested in this FP& A consulting engagement through Robert Half. This opportunity is a short-term contract engagement with the potential to develop into a managerial role in the long run for the right person. This contract FP& A consulting engagement will be working closely with the CFO of the company and senior leadership and executives. Main responsibilities include:

  • Revamp and re-design the annual budget and monthly forecast with department directors and review monthly forecast activities to ensure expenses and funding are aligned with expectations
  • Develop various robust pricing models for better business decision making
  • Report out month-end and quarter-end results to various stakeholders within the organization
  • Identify business risks and opportunities as well as report on performance indicators
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and CFO to develop other KPI dashboards and offer ideas/suggestions on process improvements
Requirements

To be considered for this engagement, you are a designated Accounting or Finance professional and with at least 5+ years of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis experience. You are a strong communicator with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Professional Accounting or Finance Designation in good standing;
  • 5+ years of Budgeting, Forecasting, and Analysis experience along with advance modeling skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in a variety of applications including Microsoft Suite and FP& A software applications;
  • Proven ability to work with complex spreadsheets and interpret large volumes of business data to aid in the decision-making process;
  • Solid analytical and organization skills to perform in a detail-oriented environment;
  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, understand their requirements, instill confidence, and build an environment that fosters growth and inclusion;
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to use judgment and tact in providing information to internal and external parties;
  • Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills;
  • Demonstrated success in multitasking and performing effectively in a fast-paced working environment with multiple deadlines; and
  • Experience with reviewing and conducting policy analyses to prepare accurate reports and recommendations to a wide-ranging audience.
