Behind the scenes of projects, administrative services ensure that every project takes center stage. Involved at different stages of a project's life, they support and assist the creative and production teams. Throughout the year, the finance team supports each team in the management of their projects, ensuring the monitoring of schedules and other performance indicators. It thrives on the diversity of projects, the variety of production cycles, and the wide range of our clients. YOUR MISSION


Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, you will work closely with project teams and department heads to analyze the performance of projects, departments, and the company. You will also be responsible for the development and optimization of financial systems, performance analysis, and the development of tools, thereby facilitating strategic decision-making and resource planning. As an analyst, you will be a key driver in ensuring the financial success of the company's initiatives. Your financial expertise and your ability to collaborate effectively with various teams will help shape strategic decisions and maximize the value of ongoing projects.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis of results and performance (projects and company) Perform in-depth financial analyses to evaluate the profitability, risks, and opportunities of ongoing projects at the project and company level. This may include analysis of costs, revenues, cash flows, and profitability indicators. Prepare monthly analyses that compare the performance of projects, business units, and departments against their respective budgets and explain variances. Produce and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards. Ensure data integrity and information accuracy. Support teams to ensure that current charges are properly allocated. Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders. Effectively communicate financial results, analyses, and recommendations. Produce presentations, statistics, reports, or other documentation related to the different projects and their progress. Bring rigor and methodology to financial analysis. Monitor the risk profile of projects, project cash position, and analysis of work progress.

Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Budget

Support project teams in the preparation of their annual budgets and monthly forecasts/reforecasts. Develop financial models to anticipate the company's future financial results. Analyze overall budget results, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Participate in the evolution of the budgeting process (in the Vena tool).

Improvement and Planning of Performance Tools and Indicators

Develop new tools/reports and optimize existing tools to evaluate and facilitate decision-making. Develop and track new KPIs to calculate optimal resource assignment (utilization). Improve tools to have better visibility into resource utilization for existing and future projects. Participate in the improvement and optimization of operational processes in the enterprise information system (ERP and dashboards).

Act as a Partner to Management Teams

Work in close collaboration with teams to exchange information, align objectives, ensure consistency between financial and operational perspectives, understand their needs, find solutions to meet them, and standardize information. Support and train users in the use of various reports, practices, and project management tools. Provide ad hoc analyses based on the needs of management and teams. Ensure compliance with financial policies and their application in the systems. Train users when new features are implemented.

YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Prior experience (Minimum of 3 to 5 years) in financial analysis. In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts. Experience in a project environment. Proficiency in MS Office tools; advanced Excel, Vena, Google Sheets, SQL / Power BI, Google Suite PowerQueries, and certain software: such as NetSuite, Vena and Wrike (a significant asset). Bilingualism (English and French).
