Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled FoxPro Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and data management, with experience in various technologies and methodologies. This role requires a proactive individual who can analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

Position Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day application development and support for a custom FoxPro-based ERP/MRP application. SQL Server database, including: Order entry and invoicing, inventory costing and management, manufacturing production control, import/export, and financials (A/P, A/R, G/L). Provide deskside support and initial triage for problems reported by users, escalate to MSP if required. Assist with migration to new ERP/MRP solution.

Position Requirements:

5 years of experience with complex applications using Visual FoxPro 6/9. 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2017 or later. 3 years of experience with deskside technical support, initial triage. Completed post-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience with manufacturing systems. Commitment to structured testing and quality assurance. Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Jira, Windows 10/11 experience. Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail. Self-starter, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Knowledge of ERP/MRP solutions, off-the-shelf and/or custom.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

5 years' experience with .NET desktop and web development. SQL Server performance monitoring and tuning, SSRS. Multi-tier system design and development. 5 years' experience with Classic ASP / VBScript / ADO. Experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON). Experience with networking technologies. Working knowledge of C#, .Net. Experience with shipping import/export processes. Web services.

Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
