Our client is helps is a research assistant that helps academics quickly find insights in scientific literature so they can write papers faster.
Candidate requirements
- 2 - 4 years of experience as a software engineer (don\xe2\x80\x99t want candidates who are too senior or with too much big tech experience).
- Have worked in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (ideally another startup) and can drive things forward with relatively little oversight
- Excited to join an early-stage company (first engineering hire)
- If they were any of the following: founding engineer, product engineer, design engineer, former founder, or worked at a reputable startup (seed, series A)
- Has independently built and scaled a product to at least a few thousand users (e.g. a side project or open-source project)
- Proven experience working with TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, React, TailwindComfortable working across the stack
- Appreciates good product design and has a great overall design sense
Nice-to-haves
- You\xe2\x80\x99ve previously built a consumer product, or worked at a top consumer company before.
- Familiarity with AI and ML concepts, especially in the context of natural language processing and generative AI models
