Founding Head of School / Principal
for our elementary program to help build, lead, and grow this new school community.
What You'll Do?
School Development & Leadership
Lead the launch of the new elementary program, including curriculum planning, daily learning structure, and school culture development.
Establish a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment aligned with our educational philosophy.
Develop and implement operational policies, school procedures, and governance guidelines
to ensure smooth and transparent management.
Recruit, mentor, and manage teaching staff as the school expands.
Enrollment, Promotion & Community Outreach
Develop and execute
student recruitment strategies
, including open houses, family information sessions, community partnerships, and local outreach.
Represent the school as the
public-facing leader
, communicating our mission and educational approach to families, partners, and the community.
Build a strong, trusting relationship with parents and help shape a collaborative family-school culture.
Operations & Compliance
Oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, reporting, and basic administrative processes.
Support compliance with Ontario educational and childcare regulations.
Work closely with the founding team to ensure sustainable program growth and long-term development.
What We're Looking For?
Bachelor's degree or higher in
Education, Child Development, or a related field
.
3+ years of experience
in elementary education leadership, school administration, program coordination, or educational business development. (We also welcome younger candidates who are passionate, entrepreneurial-minded, and excited to build a new school together)
Proven ability in
student recruitment, enrollment management, or promotional/outreach activities
.
Strong understanding of elementary learning needs, student-centered teaching, and positive school culture building.
Passionate about innovative education and eager to help build a school from the ground up.
Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking to families and community groups.
Eligible to work in Canada and available to work onsite in Toronto.
