Founding Growth & Business Development Lead
to build and execute the commercial engine that expands Vero across the healthcare sector.
As an early member of our go-to-market team, you will work directly with the founders,

an experienced software engineer, partnering closely across product, engineering, and strategy as we bring AI-powered documentation to the forefront of healthcare.

Documentation is one of the biggest drivers of burnout in healthcare. Clinicians spend hours after clinic finishing notes, time that could be spent on patient care or personal wellbeing. Vero's mission is simple:

As the Founding Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for bringing this vision to market. You will shape how organizations discover Vero, how clinicians experience our product, and how we become the leading AI scribe solution across North America. Your work will have a measurable impact on healthcare efficiency, clinician wellness, and patient outcomes.
Role Overview
We're looking for a
leader
, someone who can own customer acquisition, GTM strategy, sales, marketing, and partnerships from the ground up. You will design and run multi-channel growth systems, manage the sales cycle end-to-end, and collaborate with product to craft solutions that fit real-world workflows.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, embraces ownership, and is motivated by the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on a fast-growing health-tech company.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle, including outreach, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing.
Engage both inbound and outbound leads across clinics, specialty groups, and enterprise organizations.
Build and optimize multi-channel acquisition funnels across outbound outreach, SEO, email sequences, partnerships, and social media.
Develop scalable GTM playbooks, processes, and systems for outbound and inbound sales.
Run compelling, consultative product demos with the co-founders that clearly articulate Vero's value to clinicians, operators, and decision-makers.
Maintain accurate CRM tracking with detailed metrics on pipeline, win rates, and expansion opportunities.
Support onboarding, customer support, and feature rollout.
Requirements
2+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, or growth roles (healthcare or SaaS strongly preferred).
Proven ability to acquire leads across multiple channels: SEO, social, cold outreach, email, partnerships.
Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Experience engaging with clinicians, clinic owners, administrators, or health-system leaders is an asset.
Consultative selling approach: diagnose pain points before pitching solutions.
Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline in a fast-moving startup environment.
Highly self-directed and motivated by measurable outcomes.
Comfortable working directly with founders and influencing early GTM strategy.
