Job Opportunity - Foundation Assistant

Hours:

Part Time Position (24 hours a week)
Some evening and weekends required.

Details:

W.E Care for Kids is a local Non-Profit Organization that raises money to support and enhance paediatric programs and services in Windsor and Essex County. We are seeking a dynamic Foundation Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all website updates, maintenance and content creation and some assistance with social media content creation. Assist with daily office support. data entry and tax receipting. Assist with donation and sponsorship acquisition. Assist with fundraisers. Assist with volunteer management.

Required/Preferred Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and consistent access to a vehicle. Effective verbal and written communication Flexible Schedule. The ability to work weekends and evenings when required. Excellent computer skills High energy and passion for W.E Care for Kid's mission Proficiency in social media management tools (i.e. Canva) Proficiency in social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience in and aptitude for effectively working with volunteers.

Additional Information:

The successful candidate must arrange his/her own travel to and from the W.E Care for Kid's office on a daily basis. Job also includes travel throughout Windsor and Essex County for solicitation of donations or event planning.

This position requires flexible schedule with the ability to work additional hours as needed.
