Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Formwork Carpenter. This role is essential in ensuring the successful execution of various construction projects, requiring a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in construction practices and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Constructing, installing and repairing formwork structures and fixtures to complete the foundation of new construction project, such as concrete footings, columns, walls, downturn beams, up-stand walls, slab on grade, suspended slab and stairs Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work. Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials Perform mechanical tasks related to construction, including concrete forming, Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as carpentry Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure efficient workflow and project completion. Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required by the project scope.

Skills

Knowledge of concrete pumping processes for efficient material handling. Experience with the use of PERI Formwork System Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project managers. This position requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.
