Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to oversee and coordinate construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction trades, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and hands-on expertise. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for guiding a team, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety standards on-site.

Duties



Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, providing direction and support throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the installation of rebar, concrete forming, masonry, and flooring to ensure compliance with project specifications. Perform carpentry tasks, including framing and finishing work as required. Conduct restoration projects while adhering to established timelines and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to facilitate accurate project execution. Manage the use of hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Ensure proper caulking techniques are applied where necessary to maintain structural integrity. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, promoting teamwork and safety among crew members. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance productivity and safety.

Qualifications



Proven experience in construction with a strong understanding of various trades such as masonry, carpentry, welding, concrete finishing, and renovation. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is essential. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred; certification may be required. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. A commitment to safety practices on the job site is mandatory. Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
