Job Summary

We are currently seeking a

Formulation Worker

to join our meat processing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately weighing, mixing, and preparing meat products according to approved formulations while following food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately measure and weigh ingredients according to formulation sheets and recipes Prepare and mix meat, spices, marinades, and additives following company specifications Operate formulation and mixing equipment safely and efficiently Verify lot numbers, ingredient labels, and expiry dates before use Record production data, batch records, and traceability information Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations Follow all workplace health and safety policies, including proper PPE usage Report any deviations, equipment issues, or food safety concerns to the supervisor Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and setup of formulation equipment as required
Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience in food or meat processing is an asset (training provided) Ability to read and follow written formulations, SOPs, and instructions Basic math skills for weighing and measurements Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment Ability to lift to 25-50 lbs as required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Willingness to follow food safety, quality, and health & safety standards Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts

Preferred Skills (Asset)

Experience with meat formulation or blending Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards Experience using industrial mixers, scales, or formulation systems
