Transcare Logistics Corporation is looking for FORKLIFT/Crane Operators to join our team!

Transcare is a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway (CPKC). Transcare Logistics is the largest and the fastest steel transload (rail to truck) facility in Canada. Canada's first automated distribution hub ensures unparalleled speed of service for coil, pipe or plate. We transload a variety of material from steel, drywall, lumbar and other commodities.

Rate after 3 months is $25.00/hr, but can earn up to $27.18hr with training progression. The more you learn, the more you earn!

6% Vacation Pay and 3 weeks vacation after 3 years!

As a Material Handler you will be responsible for:

Truck, railcar and container loading and unloading of various heavy commodities Operating equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts and shunt trucks Various inventory control, housekeeping, warehousing, documentation and other activities

Working conditions

Operate in indoor and outdoor environments

Must be available for all shifts including Monday - Friday (7am -3pm and 3pm - 11pm) Continental Shifts - 12 Hours.

Biweekly rotation of days and nights (7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am).

Qualifications and Skills

Work in a safety-critical environment Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders or staircases, lift up to 50 lbs Experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts is preferred.
