Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role involves managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with warehouse equipment, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Duties

Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders using warehouse management systems Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting and packing orders accurately using order pickers and other equipment Operate forklifts, and order pickers safely to move products within the warehouse Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels in the warehouse management system Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as forklifts and performing basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessary Ensure all shipments are properly labeled, documented, and stored in designated areas Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy Follow safety procedures for heavy lifting and equipment operation to prevent accidents or injuries

Experience

Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics preferred Hands-on experience operating , forklifts, or order pickers is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge or background is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks Experience with order picking processes in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
This role is vital to maintaining smooth warehouse operations through effective shipping and receiving processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
