Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and a strong understanding of safety protocols. Also there will be some service writing duties.

Duties

Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse. Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement and organization of goods. Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and assist with order picking processes. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper lifting techniques are utilized to prevent injury. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety standards.

Skills

Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, including clamp trucks and order pickers. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Basic math skills for inventory management and order accuracy. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient operations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory control. Pay: $17.52-$24.10 per hour
