Our client, a leader in the warehousing and logistics industry, is seeking a Forklift/Equipment Operator to join their team. You will be part of the operations team supporting efficient material handling and transportation. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift/Equipment Operator
Location: Richmond, BC
Pay Range: $22 per hour
What's the Job?

• Operate and drive equipment such as trucks and forklifts to handle and transport materials.
• Support warehousing activities through effective material handling and receiving.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating machinery.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license may be required.
• Prior experience operating equipment in a transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing setting is desired but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
