We are looking for a Warehouse Associate in Richmond, BC!The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the preparation of documentation, shipping, receiving, picking, packing, cleaning, and organizing. You will be in compliance with training in Health & Safety, Security, Quality control, ISO and SOP\'s.Shifts:
8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday - ThursdayPay: $ 23/HRLocation: Richmond, BC on Blundell Road

Duties as a Warehouse Associate but not limited to:

  • Operate different types of manual lifting equipment such as pallet truck, carts.
  • Work in accordance with NECA SOP\'s and our customers SOP\'s
  • Unload cargo from truck trailers and various ocean containers where forklifts are not needed
  • Check and put away received cargo to the designated areas
  • Print and check shipping orders
- Pick orders and prepare them for safe transport
- Work on special projects and repacking operations
- Load cargo into truck trailers or various ocean containers where forklifts are not needed
- Responsible for quality control; Damaged cargo coming into the warehouse must be signed for as damaged and the damaged materials must not be shipped. Both instances must be reported to the warehouse supervisor immediately
- Responsible for verifying all documentation (waybills, packing lists)
- Use warehousing management system and maintain accuracy of inventory
- Communicate with client representatives and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, objectives and business ethics
- Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements where necessary
- Report any work-related injuries or accidents to Supervisor/Manager
- Maintain warehouse in a neat, orderly and efficient fashionQualifications
- Experience in general warehousing with preference to a 3PL environment
- Experience with WMS, TMS, various courier shipping systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Required to operate counterbalance, reach trucks and electric and manual pallet trucksSummary
