As a Forklift Operator, you\'ll assume a pivotal role in our operations. Your responsibilities span a wide spectrum, including the preparation of documentation, managing shipping and receiving, efficient picking and packing, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization. You\'ll operate within strict compliance with training in Health & Safety, Security, Quality control, ISO standards, and SOP\'s.

The ideal candidate for this extraordinary opportunity should come equipped with a wealth of experience in general warehousing, ideally within a 3PL (third-party logistics) environment. Familiarity with courier shipping systems like WMS and TMS will be highly valuable. Plus, you should have the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Salary: $23/hour

Location: Richmond, BC

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Counterbalance Forklift, Stand-Up High Reach Truck, and Electric Pallet Jack.

Unload cargo from truck trailers and containers.

Check and put away received cargo to the designated areas.

Print and check shipping orders.

Pick orders and prepare them for safe transport.

Work on special projects and repacking operations.

Load cargo into truck trailers or containers.

Work on same day shipping.

Verifying all documentation (waybills, packing lists).

Use warehousing management system and maintain accuracy of inventory.

Maintain warehouse in a neat, orderly, and efficient fashion.

Key Requirements:

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Experience in general warehousing in a 3PL environment.

Experience with courier shipping systems such as WMS, TMS, etc.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Must hold a valid forklift certificate from an external forklift course.

Must have experince with operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift, High Reach Trucks, and Electric Pallet Jack.

Must have a High School diploma.

Must have WHMIS training.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods is an asset.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Steel Toe boots required.
