Forklift Operator \xe2\x80\x93 Night Shift
Our client in the Freight industry is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join their team at their SE warehouse. They are getting busy and looking to bring on an operator for the night shift. Responsibilities
- Load and unload heavy product, with counterbalance forklift
- Stage product to be loaded onto various docks
- Identify and prepare orders for shipment, inspecting for any flaws or damage
- Regular safety inspections of the forklift to ensure good working order
- Work the overnight shift, 2 am \xe2\x80\x93 10:30 am with weekends off, and OT often available
- Proven proficiency on the counterbalance forklift
- 2-3 years of forklift experience are preferred
- Current forklift certification would be considered an asset
- Experience loading and unloading trucks is required
- Must be a good communicator and proficient speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Must have good math skills and attention-to-detail
- Accountable and responsible in proactively resolving issues in a timely manner
- Must have steel-toed footwear
