Job Description

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklift. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance. Use forklift to place pallets/boxes near running equipment in tight quarters. Supply packaging materials and raw materials to the line. Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness in their assigned area Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities. All other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Forklift license would be considered an asset. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment. High degree of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task. Mechanical aptitude and previous experience would be an asset. A keen understanding of the load and operational limitations of a forklift. Willing to help in other areas if needed.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
