We are looking to hire an experienced full-time

Forklift Operator

for our London, Ontario terminal. The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. In a productive, safe, error-free, and time-sensitive manner. NB: This role embodies an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with a cross-dock setting, forklifts, and Dangerous Goods.

Available Schedules:

Monday to Friday - Midnights: 3:00AM to 11:30AM

Duties & Responsibilities

Efficiently load and unload trailers in strict adherence to company protocols to ensure safe and timely operations. Identify and manage OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) freight with attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and prompt resolution. Complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly, ensuring all records are in compliance with company standards. Comply with company health and safety policies at all times, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, performing housekeeping duties as needed to ensure a tidy, efficient, and safe environment. Support management with additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

1-2 years of previous warehouse experience is an asset. 1-2 years of previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred. Cross-dock experience is considered an asset. Written and oral communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and in a time-sensitive environment. A criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
