We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining an organized and productive work environment, supporting order fulfillment, and upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move, stack, and store materials in designated areas. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order picking processes. Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of products as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet operational goals.

Requirements

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Strong skills in order picking and knowledge of warehouse distribution processes. Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order processing. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Ability to lift heavy loads safely, following proper lifting techniques. A commitment to safety practices and attention to detail in all tasks.

Pay: $18.00-$22.04 per hour

8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Night shift On call Weekends as needed
