Applicant is responsible for the safety operation of a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize pallets and materials within the facility.

Key responsibilities:

Operate a counterbalance forklift safely to move, lift, load, and unload pallets, lumber, and other materials in the outdoor open yard. Transport materials to designated production or storage areas as instructed. Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns immediately. Ensure loads are properly loaded for strapping and transportation without damage. Assist with stacking, organizing, and inventory movement within the yard or warehouse. Maintain accurate counts of materials handled when required. Communicate effectively with supervisors and production teams regarding material needs and priorities. Follow all site traffic rules, designated lanes, and equipment operating procedures. Keep work area clean and free of hazards, including removing debris or obstructions. Comply with all company safety policies, WorkSafeBC requirements, and forklift operation standards.
Qualifications:

Valid Forklift Certification (counterbalance class). Minimum 1 year of forklift or material-handling experience preferred. Ability to operate a forklift safely in tight, high-traffic and outdoor open yard environment. Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Good communication skills, both spoken and written English, and ability to follow instructions. Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
