Job Duties:
- Could Physically load freight into trailers and process paperwork.
- Label and separate parcels according to carrier specifications, preparing them for shipment.
- Manage inventory and pick orders when needed.
- Observe different processes for different customers as required.
- Licensed for operation of stand-up Raymond Forklift.
- Assure that deadlines are met at all times.
- Be able to work on the floor with their team to maintain a team work environment
- Other duties as requested
- Palletization of orders
- Loading of orders (trailers)
- Order loading (Case Pick)
- Order tracking
- Creation of the Dock Lane
- Close the Manifests
- Creation of BOL and MBOL
- Sends end-of-day emails and other administrative tasks
- Operational follow-up with dock workers
- Operational support to other departments if requested
- At least 1 year prior dispatch experience is required.
- Previous experience and/or a familiarity with trucking is required
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and possess excellent problem solving skills
- Proficient in Windows Outlook, Microsoft excel, and a transportation management system
- Proven experience handling multiple priorities
