Shifts: Days, Afternoons, Nights, Weekends



Reports To: Dispatch Supervisor



Position Overview




This role is crucial for maintaining an efficient supply chain and ensuring accurate product handling and delivery. Forklift operators will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the facility. They must handle goods efficiently and accurately while following safety protocols and company procedures. Dependability, safety focus, and physical stamina are required in this fast-paced environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:



Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately. Strive to maintain exemplary levels of customer service. Inform both internal and external teams of any deviations from established processes, quality concerns, and service issues or potential risks in these areas. Complete forklift/equipment inspection checklist prior to operation. Operate forklifts equipped with forks, push-pull (Slip), or clampers to move customer products. Use the assigned forklift to load and unload customer products in a timely manner, maintaining dock flow throughout the shift. Utilize Warehouse Management Software (WMS) loading/unloading software to accurately record completed work. Sort, stack, wrap, and label products properly according to customer standards. Replace or charge forklift batteries as needed. Document additional value-added work clearly for precise invoicing. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly. Work collaboratively within a team, follow directions, and adopt approved work methods. Perform all tasks in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain regular, reliable attendance and a high level of performance. Ensure all procedures are followed to ensure quality and food safety. Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties



Assist in other warehouse activities as required Maintain a clean and tidy work environment Ability to cross-train and provide coverage for team members planned time off. Ability to work multiple shifts as required Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:



Ensure continuous focus and situational awareness during all operations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills. Reliable and dependable. Thrive in fast-paced, high-stress settings.

Education and Experience:



High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift experience preferred but not required. Must be able to successfully complete forklift operator training Must demonstrate safe handling of a forklift during an on-site test.

Physical Demands:



Must be in good physical condition, must be able to stand up to 4 consecutive hours/day, and sit up to 8 consecutive hours per day. Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs repetitively, including overhead to floor, and floor to overhead lifting. Frequent bending/twisting Occasional climbing (stairs) Must be able to work effectively in -20 Celsius freezer environment consistently for full shift.

3 Shifts Available:


Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon - 6:00AM - 4:30PM


Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon - 2:00PM - 12:30AM


Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon - 10:00PM - 8:30AM
