Salary information :

Competitive wages ($22.40 to $22.92/hour) + shift premiums available ($5/hour)

Night shift :

Monday to Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line using a propane or electrical sit-down forklift; Transport various materials and/or supplies for operational needs; Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required; Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to keep the work environment clean and safe; Review work completed on previous shift and work to be completed according to priorities established by the production supervisor; Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns; Operate the forklift safely and meticulously; Be very vigilant in the method of driving, in order to avoid accidents and/or overturns: pedestrians, buildings, fixed equipment, trucks and other machinery; Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits; Outdoor work environment; Be buckled up at all times; Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine; Comply with company health and safety rules; All other related duties.

Qualifications

Valid forklift operator's competency card or to be renewed;

Experience as a sit-down forklift operator (1 year minimum);

Self-motivated and proactive; Good attendance record; Resourcefulness; Punctual person; Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions.
