Job Description

Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.Qualifications:

• Education required Grade 12 or equivalent;
• Experience operating a forklift;
• Able to work twelve (12) hour rotating shift work schedule;
• Strong attention to details;
• Strong understanding of warehouse/shipping and transportation;
• Ability to work safely in a fast paced environment;
• Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Willingness to work overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive materials into the database;
• Scanning pallets and placing into the proper racking system;
• Ensure that stock rotation is being adhered to (FIFO);
• Unloading and loading trucks;
• Verifying paperwork, inspecting loads, entering data into databases;
• Ensure customer orders are met while maintaining quality;
• Ensure plants are maintained to Irving standards;
• Other duties as required.
