SUMMARY - Forklift Operator

Shift: Fulltime (Sunday to Thursday 22:00-06:30)


TransX has an exciting opportunity for a

Forklift Operator

to join our Dock team in the Calgary Terminal. We are looking for an individual that is strong, active, and possesses a solid work ethic.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Loading/unloading containers and trailers Organizing the warehouse Using a forklift Other general labor duties such as stacking, wrapping and warehouse cleaning

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Education

Forklift certificate, WHMIS, TDG certifications Must have completed high school or equivalent.

Experience

Two years' experience in a cross dock/fast-paced warehouse machine operator role Experience stacking different types of materials, including boxes, pallets, bins, etc. Experience working with frozen and refrigerated freight Positive attitude and personality, courteous manner, and flexibility High-attention to detail Consistently reliable and dependable Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Safety-first work style
