The goal of this position is to successfully and safely move materials throughout the facility. The incumbent will perform general warehouse duties including replenishment, shipping/receiving, picking and packing orders, processing orders (where applicable) in the system, and other warehouse related job tasks as assigned.

Operate the required forklift to move material through facility. Provide materials to the picking line by physically moving them from stock points along the line, off trailers, and from other storage areas. Uses a Warehouse Management System to pick orders, receive, check, count inventory, verify, sort and classify materials and equipment by stock number, condition and other classifications. Safely load and unload product from trailers and move to storage location, racks, stack or store in appropriate areas. Makes sure to replenish locations with the right product. Follow and abide all MHE safety protocols setup by Metro Green Logistics and JHSC team. MHE daily inspections. Reporting any damages / incidents right away. Adhering to other safety protocols such as, following STOP signs, checking blind spots etc. Promote a clean, safe and positive work environment including sanitation. Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:



Completion of secondary school diploma. Must have two (2) years of Forklift experience, preferably with a reach, order picker, walkie and dockstocker. Certified Material Handling Equipment Operator with a proven track record for safety and good driving skills. Have thorough knowledge of warehouse MHE safety procedures.
