Job Description

As the Forklift operator - Logistics Agent, you will be responsible for operating the forklift to load and unload warehouse material, receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock and optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and safety, while following all applicable instructions, policies and procedures as provided by Ben-Mor Cables Inc.

Responsibilities

Unload all type of containers; Perform check on received goods according to the verification process; Sampling the merchandise; Perform visual; dimensional; and physical checks on merchandise; Properly identify approved and non-approved merchandise; Complete the quality control forms (receiving); Perform inventory movements in the IT system (when receiving and/or moving inventory); Prepare orders in accordance with the purchase order; Complete the shipping forms; Drive a forklift; Load and unload trucks; Participate in new hire training; Performing the inventory; Follow work procedures and timelines; Respect ISO standards and procedures; Respect occupational health and safety standards; Adhere to corporate policies and regulations; Any other tasks required by this position;

Requirements

Reading; writing; and counting skills Know how to read measurements (imperial and metric) Knowledge of mathematics and statistics Knowledge of Windows and Office Excellent knowledge of company's products Punctuality Reliability Autonomy Resourcefulness Thoroughness and precision Order; organization; and cleanliness Ability to use measuring instruments (e.g.; vernier; test bench; scale; measuring tape; etc.) Good manual skills Good physical ability (lifting and/or handling products up to 50 pounds) Ability to work as part of a team Ability to work under pressure Scheduel from 12PM to 8:30PM
