Material Service Associate

Position Summary

Forklift drivers are responsible for accurately pulling orders, scanning, and preparing them for timely shipment. They also supply production work centers with necessary packaging, work in progress (WIP) products, and components.

Material Service Essential Functions + Use forklift and hand cart to move, load, and unload finished goods.
+ Transport and scan finished goods (FG) parts from work center to staging area.
+ Move parts from finished goods inventory to staging area as per release.
+ Generate packing slips and bills of lading to meet shipping requirements.
+ Ensure totes, dunnage, racks, and other packaging materials are available at the production line.
+ Strap, wrap, and package orders for shipment.
+ Unload and sort returnable packaging from customers.
+ Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues promptly.
+ Follow warehouse management system (WMS) (T.E.D) procedures for task completion.
Assembly and Injection Essential functions + Follow WMS (T.E.D) procedures for task acceptance and completion.
+ Ensure all components, WIP, and FG are scanned to the correct locations for inventory accuracy.
+ Ensure totes, dunnage, racks, and packaging are available lineside during scheduled production runs.
+ Adhere to stack height procedures when storing bins in the storage area and work center.
+ Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues immediately.
Additional Responsibilities + Assist with weekly and monthly finished goods inventory cycle counts.
+ Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Knowledge of Windows-based computer applications.
+ Forklift experience and a valid license required.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong team player with effective communication and organizational skills.
+ Basic computer knowledge.
+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.
