Job Description

We are looking to welcome an energetic self-starter who is mechanically inclined and detail-oriented to join our team as a Forklift Driver at our Abbotsford location. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and embraces our Continuous Improvement culture. This position is based at 2188 Mason Street, Abbotsford, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Compensation:

The typical hiring range for this position is $21.00-25.00/hour

Responsibilities:

Pick and stage orders in the warehouse Load and unload trucks Operate a sit-down counterbalance and stand up high reach safely and efficiently (electric) Use barcode system to locate product in the warehouse Unload production lines and put away product in the warehouse as required Ensure all equipment is operating properly and inform appropriate personnel of any problems Count inventory as required Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating a forklift Other general warehouse duties as required

Qualifications:

Current forklift certificate class 1, 4, 5 required 3-5 years of forklift experience required Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions Ability to work well with people in a team environment Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, as this position requires lifting, bending, and moderate physical exertion Ability to multi-task Certification with high reach forklift is considered an asset Ability to multi-task Good with computers A position 'can do' attitude
