Forester - Campbell River, BC
CAPFOR is currently accepting applications for the position of Planning and Operations Forester in Campbell River. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with our team of professionals in all timber development activities including implementation and administration of Forest Stewardship Plans, reporting to our Forestry Manager with silviculture liability budgeting and providing supervision and business development services for our First Nation clients forest tenures.

What you Offer:
Registered with the Association of BC Forest Professionals as an RPF
5+ years of related forestry experience
Background in forestry planning, engineering, and silviculture operations
Working knowledge of RESULTS, FSP tracking, Phoenix Connect and ESF
Committed to safety, strong work ethic, positive team attitude and strong ability to prioritize and develop timelines to fit clients demands
Ability to prepare forestry budgets and silviculture accruals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-directed, motivated with the ability to organize and direct projects
Ability to assist in the preparation and review of Forest Stewardship Planning, cutting permit applications, site plans, and logging plans as well as other projects required to meet the company's production objectives
