Forsite, an innovative forest and land management company with 10 locations across Canada, is looking for candidates interested in the challenging position(s) of Forest Technician based out of our Edmonton, Alberta office. The positions are permanent full-time.

FOREST TECHNICIAN(S):
As a Forest Technician you will be responsible to provide technical expertise to project teams in all aspects of forest management projects including both timber development and inventory projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A safety conscious attitude.
- Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, or >3 years related field experience.
- Broad understanding and implementation of general forestry practices.
- Solid understanding of, and experience in, operational forest planning.
- Valid driver’s license.
In addition, all candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Enthusiasm and a passion for both forestry and working outdoors.
- A professional, friendly and courteous manner, being service & team oriented.
- Initiative and perseverance.
- Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions.
