What you can expect:




As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering sustainability certification and verification services. You will support and eventually manage client portfolios, contribute to the integrity and quality of our auditing processes, and represent Preferred by Nature in communications with clients and stakeholders in Canada, especially within FSC, SFI, and PEFC chain-of-custody systems.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical detail and client interaction, and who wants to contribute meaningfully to sustainable land use and forest product traceability.







Working with us is never routine so the first year you can expect the following areas to be central to your work.



Support the delivery of FSC, SFI, and PEFC certification services by planning and coordinating audits, including budgeting, scheduling, and document preparation. You'll contribute to audit consistency and data accuracy while gaining technical expertise in sustainability standards. Build client relationships by managing a growing portfolio across Canada, ensuring responsive communication, high-quality reporting, and timely service delivery. As you progress, you'll lead audits and become a trusted resource on certification procedures and trademark use. Contribute to Preferred by Nature's presence in the Canadian market by identifying new client opportunities, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting the development of a regional client acquisition strategy. Grow your skills in forest product certification systems by conducting audits, submitting reports, and collaborating with experienced team members to improve service delivery and internal workflows. Represent Preferred by Nature in meetings, training sessions, and industry events across Ontario and Quebec, helping raise awareness of sustainability standards and strengthening our impact in the region.


Your first year with us



Within three months, you will:

Complete onboarding and technical training, including FSC standards, trademark use, and audit planning procedures. Shadow at least two audits and assist with scheduling, budgeting, and document coordination. Support initial client engagement and data entry in internal systems like Salesforce.


Within six months, you will:

Lead FSC CoC audits independently and manage planning and logistics for assigned clients. Handle certification inquiries, finalize consultant agreements, and ensure database accuracy. Attend PEFC CoC training and support monitoring of certification statuses.



Within one year, you will:

Operate independently as Lead Auditor and Client Manager across your full portfolio. Ensure audit consistency, data quality, and contribute to system/process improvements. Represent Preferred by Nature at stakeholder events and support less experienced colleagues.






Important that you:



Have a degree in forestry, environmental science, supply chain, or related field Have at least 2 years of experience in forest products, printing, packaging, or environmental management (or 4 years without a university degree) Possess strong communication skills in English; French is an asset Are familiar with certification standards such as FSC, PEFC, or SFI Are organized, analytical, and capable of balancing technical precision with client service Are comfortable working with digital tools (Excel, Salesforce, etc.) Are willing to travel occasionally across Canada

Ce que vous pouvez attendre du poste :




A titre de coordonnateur de la chaine d'approvisionnement, vous jouerez un role cle dans la prestation de services de certification et de verification en developpement durable. Vous appuierez, puis prendrez en charge des portefeuilles de clients, contribuerez a l'integrite et a la qualite des processus d'audit, et representerez Preferred by Nature dans les communications avec les clients et les parties prenantes au Canada, particulierement dans les systemes de chaine de tracabilite FSC, SFI, et PEFC.


Ce poste s'adresse a une personne qui aime autant les aspects techniques que les interactions avec la clientele, et qui souhaite avoir un impact concret sur la gestion durable des ressources et la tracabilite des produits forestiers.







Travailler avec nous n'est jamais routinier. Voici ce a quoi vous pouvez vous attendre au cours de votre premiere annee :



Appuyer la prestation des services de certification FSC, SFI, et PEFC en planifiant et en coordonnant les audits (budgetisation, calendrier, preparation de la documentation). Vous contribuerez a l'uniformite des audits et a la precision des donnees tout en approfondissant vos connaissances techniques des normes en durabilite. Developper des relations avec les clients en gerant un portefeuille croissant au Canada, en assurant une communication proactive, des rapports de qualite et des services livres dans les delais. Vous deviendrez progressivement une personne-ressource de confiance en matiere de certification et d'utilisation des marques deposees. Contribuer a la presence de Preferred by Nature sur le marche canadien en identifiant de nouvelles opportunites, en collaborant avec les parties prenantes et en soutenant la mise en oeuvre d'une strategie regionale d'acquisition de clients. Approfondir vos competences en systemes de certification des produits forestiers en realisant des audits, en redigeant des rapports et en collaborant avec des collegues experimentes afin d'optimiser la prestation de services et les processus internes. Representer Preferred by Nature lors de rencontres, formations et evenements sectoriels en Ontario et au Quebec, en sensibilisant aux normes de durabilite et en renforcant notre impact dans la region.


Votre premiere annee avec nous :



D'ici 3 mois :

Suivre la formation d'integration et les formations techniques (normes FSC, utilisation des marques, planification des audits). Observer au moins deux audits et appuyer la planification, la budgetisation et la coordination des documents. Participer aux premiers contacts clients et a la saisie des donnees dans les systemes internes (ex. : Salesforce).
D'ici 6 mois :

Realiser des audits FSC CoC de facon autonome et gerer la planification et la logistique des audits pour les clients qui vous sont attribues. Repondre aux demandes liees a la certification, finaliser les ententes avec les consultants et assurer la mise a jour des bases de donnees. Suivre la formation PEFC CoC et contribuer au suivi des statuts de certification.
D'ici 12 mois :

Travailler de maniere autonome a titre de responsable de portefeuille et de chef d'equipe d'audit. Assurer la coherence des audits, la qualite des donnees et contribuer a l'amelioration continue des systemes et processus internes. Representer Preferred by Nature lors d'evenements avec les parties prenantes et soutenir l'integration des nouveaux membres de l'equipe.






Ce que nous recherchons :



Diplome en foresterie, sciences de l'environnement, chaine d'approvisionnement ou dans un domaine connexe. Minimum deux (2) ans d'experience dans les produits forestiers, l'impression, l'emballage ou la gestion environnementale (ou quatre ans d'experience sans diplome universitaire). Excellentes competences en communication en anglais; le francais est un atout considerable. Connaissance des normes de certification telles que FSC, PEFC ou SFI. Tres bonnes aptitudes en organisation, en analyse et en gestion du service a la clientele tout en maintenant la rigueur technique. Aisance avec les outils numeriques (Excel, Salesforce, etc.). Disponibilite pour des deplacements occasionnels a travers le Canada.
