Foreman/Site Superintendent
to join our team and lead on-site restoration projects from start to finish.
Position Summary
We're looking for a reliable and experienced Foreman/Site Superintendent to lead our restoration projects from start to finish. In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day site operations, making sure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and with top-quality results.
You'll supervise and support technicians, coordinate with project managers, keep projects on schedule, and ensure great workmanship on every site. Projects may include work in challenging environments, including Single Room Occupancy (SRO) buildings and properties located in the Downtown Eastside. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in these environments and able to maintain professionalism, situational awareness, and safety at all times.
The right person will have solid restoration or construction experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm and confident under pressure. You should be comfortable running a site independently and communicating clearly with your team, clients, and occupants. Additional duties may be assigned as needed--flexibility is key.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise restoration technicians, laborers, and subcontractors on residential and commercial job sites.
Plan, coordinate, and assign daily tasks to ensure projects progress efficiently and meet schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Perform hands-on restoration work as required, including water extraction, demolition, and drying setup.
Monitor and report on project progress through daily reporting, site photos, and documentation.
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors regarding job status and requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Schedule materials, equipment, manpower, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines.
Review drawings, permits, purchase orders, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Plan inspections and coordinate permit requirements as needed.
Prepare weekly look-ahead schedules and maintain deficiency lists to uphold construction standards.
Train, mentor, and provide ongoing feedback to team members to uphold company standards and procedures.
Enforce company policies and administer disciplinary actions when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum
3+ years of construction experience
1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience
Strong structural knowledge, including assessing structural integrity and coordinating repairs
Experience working with engineers on restoration rebuilds
Hands-on carpentry and general maintenance experience
Proven subcontractor and project management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working flexible hours
Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
