We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our Customer Service team at our head office in Edmonton. This role is critical to maintaining Inland Industrial's commitment to outstanding customer service and driving continued business growth.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a passion for customer service within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service by building rapport and proactively following up with clients
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential new accounts
Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations and solutions
Prepare accurate quotations and provide technical product information
Stay informed on industry products, services, and trends
Manage customer sales quotes, sales orders, production orders, and service returns
Collaborate closely with the account managers to support customer needs and resolve concerns
Skills and Abilities
Strong ability to understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident phone presence
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service orientation with a proactive, solution-focused approach
High sense of urgency and strong work ethic
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or sales
Industry knowledge in safety or construction consumables (preferred)
Experience with SAP systems (an asset but not required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
