Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse to join our healthcare team. We are currently seeking a foot care nurse to provide services for a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care and assisting in promoting a positive patient experience. Must show proof of experience on resume.
Responsibilities
Provide the necessary care to address thick and fungal nails, corns, calluses, plantar fissures, nail trauma, ingrown toenails, issues with diabetes, infections and ulcers
Perform lower limb assessments and offer informed health teaching
Observe and document all assessments and treatments in the clinic practice management software
Refer patients to other health care practitioners as needed.
Experience
Licensed Practical nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
Basic or Advanced foot care education certificate (required)
Professional liability insurance
Experience working with the elderly and with cognitively impaired individuals
Knowledge of wound care, lower limb circulatory diseases and diabetes management desirable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening

Hours (Mostly 9-5, however availability for evenings would be a benefit)
