Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who specifically has foot care certificate to join our home healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the highest standards of care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Duties

Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Conduct routine assessments and document patient progress in medical records. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Perform laboratory tests as required. Assist in pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols. Support senior care initiatives within nursing home settings. Provide foot care to specific clients that require it.

Experience

Previous experience in acute care, hospital settings, or home care is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient care best practices. Experience in pain management techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Have Foot Care Certification

Pay: $26.56-$32.73 per hour
