Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)



CareKW is growing and looking for a Foot care nurse in Kitchener.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all foot care services are provided in alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. Perform ongoing foot assessments and deliver appropriate treatment. Follow safe work and risk management policies and procedures. Assess, anticipate, and respond to the changing needs of clients and keep Nursing lead informed All required supplies are provided by CareKW. Liaise with physicians and other members of the interprofessional care team to ensure client care needs are met Practice within the scope of practice set out by the College of Nurses of Ontario

Role Requirements:

Current registration with the CNO, candidate must be in good standing Must have foot care certification Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle Valid work/study permit (if applicable) Current CPR/First Aid Certification Complete immunization record (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, Hep B) Clean Vulnerable Sector Screen (within 3 months of hire) Strong documentation and clinical skills High level of interpersonal skills
