Foot Care Nurse (lpn)

Job Description
Care at Home Services is seeking an experienced casual foot care nurse (LPN) to help our clients in our community in Edmonton, Alberta.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing exceptional client centered care. Representing Care At Home Services with professionalism and compassion, this nurse will use their knowledge base to improve the lives of seniors by addressing their foot care needs.
Qualifications:
- Advanced foot care certificate
- Current license with the CLPNA; no restrictions
- Current First Aid and CPR C
- Up-to-date immunizations
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle
Job description:
- Provide assessment, care and advice for clients
- Educate clients on proper foot care maintenance
- Clipping nails, treating corns, calluses, ingrown nails and thickened nails
- Create and apply individualized care plans
- Document care provided, progress and care plans
- Communicate with Nurse Case Manager and healthcare team members regarding changes or concerns related to client
- Must be reliable, honest and respectful of the client and members of the healthcare team, with good time management skills and a caring demeaner
- Always adhere to safety and care policies including confidentiality
Position:
- Casual: Hours depend on client needs/staff availability
- Immediate start
- Disposable foot care tools and PPE provided for every client
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $31.00 per hour

Foot Care Certification (required)
Work Location: In person
