Footcare Nurse (RPN)

to join our team in a casual capacity. If you are passionate about providing specialized nursing care and improving quality of life for patients through preventative and therapeutic footcare, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional footcare services, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of common foot conditions. Perform procedures such as nail care, callus and corn reduction, and management of ingrown toenails within scope of practice. Educate patients and families on foot health, footwear, and preventative care practices. Identify and address risk factors related to diabetes, vascular disease, and mobility issues. Collaborate with healthcare providers to support holistic care plans. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress. Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols during all procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Completion of an RPN certificate program. Advanced Footcare certification (mandatory). Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; prior footcare experience is a strong asset. Strong knowledge of diabetic footcare and wound prevention. Excellent patient education and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
