Job Title: Food Truck Attendant / Team Member

Job Overview

We're hiring a reliable, friendly Food Truck Attendant for our lunch service. Shifts are ~5 hours (10 AM-3 PM). The job is straightforward: come in at 10 AM, start the potatoes (they take about 1.5 hours), tidy or handle light prep, and then serve customers from 12-3 PM.

Once lunch begins, it's all about taking orders, assembling potatoes with toppings, and handing them out the window. No advanced cooking or knife skills required -- we provide training. What matters most is customer service, sanitation, and reliability. There may also be opportunities for occasional evening or late-night shifts if you'd like extra hours.

Pay: $18/hour plus you keep 100% of your tips.

Responsibilities

Start the potato bake at 10 AM and handle light prep or cleaning. Serve customers during the 12-3 PM rush: take payments, assemble potatoes, and keep service smooth. Keep the truck clean and sanitary throughout the shift. Handle cash and card transactions accurately. Assist with setup before service and close-down after.
Requirements

Excellent people skills and customer-first attitude. Reliable and punctual for 10 AM-3 PM shifts. Trustworthy with money and tips. Able to maintain food safety and cleanliness standards. Previous food service or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
Probationary Period

Employment is subject to a three-month probationary period under Newfoundland & Labrador labour standards.
