Serve food from serving lines to staff, students and faculty.
Operate equipment according to procedures.
Work with work bursary students who are helping in the kitchen.
Assist in receiving and putting away food and supplies.
Assist in maintaining preparation and service areas in sanitary conditions.
Wash and sanitize all work surfaces.
Clear tables/food carts, scrape dishes, pots and pans.
Operate dishwasher according to procedures.
Store clean equipment and utensils.
Empty garbage
Although this job description outlines many of the basic areas of responsibility of the FSS, it is not intended to be exhaustive or inclusive. It is understood that other responsibilities will be necessary from time to time.
The FSS will also work closely with all NCC Staff, Faculty and Administration to ensure the best possible experience for our students, parents and constituents.Evening hours and schedule vary and will include a weekend rotation. On-call fill-in work is available in addition to the regular hours.
Food Handler Certification is an asset along with 2-3 years related work experience.
