Food Services Attendant I
Job Description
The Food Services Attendant I portions, packages and/or serves food items according to menu, diet protocol, portion control and temperature standards within an acute care or continuing care setting. The position is also responsible for cleaning equipment, supplies and surfaces throughout the kitchen. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.Additional Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of quantity food preparation techniques, safe food handling and sanitation procedures required. Ability to read, write, speak & understand English required.Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or recognized equivalent preferred. An equivalent combination of education & experience may be considered. WHMIS certificate desired. Food safe certificate desired.
