Food Service Worker at Nomad on Bay (307 Bay Street) Nomad by Pinetree Catering is currently seeking 1 part-time Food Service Workers to join our team! We are looking for candidates that can work a variety shifts from Tuesday to Saturday. We are open 11am to 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, 11am to 6pm on Thursday & Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday (closed on Sunday & Monday). We are also seeking someone with versatility who may have interest in working at both Nomad locations (Bay Street & Thunder Bay Airport). Job Pay: \xe2\x86\x92 $17/hr. Hourly wage ($20-$22 with Tips) \xe2\x86\x92 Tip Pool/Tips Included (Additional $3-$5/hr.) \xe2\x86\x92 15-25 hours per week, with a possibility for more Successful Candidates must: \xe2\x86\x92 Work in a team environment & independently at times \xe2\x86\x92 Maintain exceptional customer service skills \xe2\x86\x92 Have strong interpersonal skills \xe2\x86\x92 Communicate confidently and effectively with customers & staff \xe2\x86\x92 Ability to properly handle food and assemble custom sandwiches & other food items \xe2\x86\x92 Have good product & food knowledge and awareness \xe2\x86\x92 Ability to maintain a clean working area and caf\xc3\xa9 Job Prerequisites: \xe2\x86\x92 Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate (\xe2\x80\x9cIn Good Hands\xe2\x80\x9d) \xe2\x86\x92 Valid SmartServe Ontario Certificate \xe2\x86\x92 Experience with cash handling and P.O.S. systems an asset \xe2\x86\x92 Experience handling and preparing food an asset \xe2\x86\x92 Knowledge in foods and beverages an asset \xe2\x86\x92 Experience with food and customer service an asset \xe2\x86\x92 If you are missing any certifications, Nomad will assist successful candidate(s) in obtaining those certifications.
