Hello! We are a newer restaurant establishment starting to open lunches in the downtown core. We are seeking a couple of mature and reliable team members for our new lunch hours! Tuesday- Thursday -(10am - 3:15pm) Your duties as a food service worker would be:
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour Benefits:
- Taking orders and payments for walk-in customers
- Receiving and preparing take-out / delivery orders
- Food prep (chopping vegetables & meat)
- Preparing lunch bowls
- Ensuring the correct cooking methods and preparations
- Properly handling and storing food per applicable regulatory requirements
- Ensuring and following food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to handle a fast pace environment (lunch rush)
- Physically capable to lift/handle heavy objects (upto 40lb)
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Excellent work ethics
- Experience in working in a kitchen at home or restaurant
- Reliable means of transportation
- Food handlers certificate
