EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Position:
FOOD SERVICE WORKER
Facility: Lamont Health Care Centre
Status: PERMANENT Part-time
Position Summary:
Responsible for complete food production, quality control, meal service and somefood purchasing as well as general supervision of Food Services Workers in the absence of the
Supervisor. Work collaboratively with Nursing and other departments to address food and nutrition needs
of patients and residents as required.
Reporting to:
Food Services SupervisorQualifications:
o Grade XII (12) preferred.
On-the-job training provided but 2 years related experience preferred. Food Handling Certificate preferred. Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions. Ability to perform routine tasks. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to show some creativity and initiative. Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Must be a team player and conduct himself/herself in a professional manner. Ability to adhere to the Health Care Centre's Mission and Philosophy

Hours: 0.49 FTE (Days/Evenings/Weekends varying shift lengths and start times)
